Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American performer and actress. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse and Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American singer and actress. Kristen was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods with a Polish mother and a father that was German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen found her talent in entertainment from a young stage of her life. In 1992, she appeared at her first audition and won an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent when she was 13 and she was subsequently cast for television and newspaper commercials. Additionally, she began to take acting lessons privately. Bell played a small part that was not credited to her on the film Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell studied at Shrine Catholic High School where she was involved in music and drama club. In her school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. After graduating, Bell relocated in New York City to attend the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts in which she studied musical theater. Bell graduated from her college in 2001 after she took the role of Becky for Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was the first to be credited with Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and she was only seen in the credit sequence. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell appeared on her first Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
